    Ok tried my hand at smudging again. Didn't think it came out horrible this time but let me know what you think. Advice is appreciated!

    I think u need to do more details on the smudge they just look to plain.

    Try sharpening or adding a filter to the smudging to bring it out more. Also, needs a lil depth. Burn/Dodge it abit. And I'd go with the colored.

    Id say do some pentool effects in there and it will be great ! hate that my photoshop dont have pentool :(

    Smudging is ok, lighting seems odd. That random spiral under his hand looks a bit out of place. It's decent, but there's nothing that jumps out at you.
