Magazine

Last bump before I let this idea die out. If someone wants to talk to SP, and see if they want to make this happen, I can get us the space for this.

 

AF plans on putting a magazine out with our resource pack.
If any of the crews want to post something I can talk with SP about setting it all up.

I'm still very interested in doing a magazine with the teams. So Shaggy, where are you and fill me in with the details (if there are any details )

 

if shag is still interested in us doing this then AF is interested in adding our personal touch.

 

I'm thinking a bit on how to do it. Are we going for a seperate magazine per team?

I mean, ideally I'd like the teams to work sorta together on this and create one monthly magazine that gathers info, sigs, lps ... on all the teams.
Would be more interesting to read for the members as well. And it will also initiate other members to perhaps get more active in order to join a crew (so they can appear in the magazine themselves)

 

I would like it to be a group project between the teams aswell.

If we do 1 mag as a group then only one would need to be coded, and SP knows how to code since he did the one for Af.

 

No, doesn't mean you have to code it.

It would be easier to just release one mag with works from all the teams. SP would tell us how big the pages are, and we would just have to submit our pages to him. Then he will be putting it together. We had a magazine out not too long ago with our second resource pack. Our preview of the pack was a 5 page magazine. The link is dead now, but if SP can find it, maybe he can show it again.

But the gist would indeed be that I give you the requirements for the page and then you all make them and send it to me. I put it together and voila.
Of course, this sorta means you look out for your own team of course. You make a sort of frontpage for the team and then the contents and such so everything in the mag is clear and so it's obvious when another team starts.

There'll also be a rota to which team get's to go up front (so the cover) so everyone is treated equally. Once all the teams have done there say here, I'll look into it more closely, on terms that all the teams agree with it of course

 

Af will get started when we get the ok.

 

come the summer, activity in BC will improve. right now a lot of us are under finals pressure :S

that said, we wouldn't be opposed to making this work
