BEWARE OF SPOILERS!!!!!!! So I am gonna go see this at the special Advanced Screening on the Imax! and I am bringing my camera lol I am expecting Klingons and Red shirts!
heh it was there for when I get back I have somewhere to post without having to make another post I was disappointed in the Trekkies fan base.. Only 5 people showed up dressed up Damn Closet nerds (No I didn't dress up lol).. Lets see my experience: 1.) Had a couple guys bitching about 10 minutes into the movie about seats so I missed about 10 minutes of it.. ---- was funny though people behind em where yelling to sit down 'douchebag' and one of the guys yelled shut up or I will slit your throat lol. 2.) Seems everyone had to applaud for a lot of the scenes wtf.. 3.) Other then that it was fun. 4.) There isn't any scene after the film so once the credits start feel free to leave. [color=#000000;background:#000000]1.) Spock was good, All 3 versions lol 2.) Guy played kirk well (Kirk isn't racist all I gotta say) 3.) ------in reds will never learn lol. 4.) If you are a Trek fan all the famous lines are in there. Overall the movie was pretty good no boring spots in it really even if you aren't a star Trek fan its still appealing as a sci-fi fan. I think its better then the other TNG movies... (No I don't remember the old trek movies) 5.) As far as sequals go they made it so it can take any direction now.[/color]
Simon Pegg is the only reason I'd see this movie. Otherwise I don't like Star Trek at all. Might see it anyway though.
I have only seen the movies, never an episode, so I wouldn't call myself a fan in the least bit, but this movie just blew me away. Awesome performance by the entire cast.
