I have no idea what happened...

I installed Illustrator and now Dreamweaver has this problem!

I think Illustrator had the Swine Flu... and gave it to Dreamweaver, I'm taking it off before Photoshop gets it!

Anyone knows what the real problem is... let me know, it does that when I try to save. I get many other errors for other stuff... I can't paste anything in it anymore... it committed suicide...

What Dreamweaver version is it and did you download any exchanges from the Dw site recently perhaps?

Did you run a virus scan recently and told it to delete something?

Use Notepad and type your own code. Dreamweaver is overrated.

I've never had a problem with Notepad.

Lol, I used notepad for a while... then my computer went wacko, my keyboard stopped working, my internet card stopped working for any computer it gets plugged into...

So Now I have reformatted my computer, got CS4 Master collection from my bro... installed it, everything id fine :)

So now I just have to get everything I had... back... luckily I put it on my hosting, but it takes a week to download, since it's so big...

I'm with rena to a degree, DW is overhyped, if your not using WYSIWYG plain html stuff your better off doing it manually as you get a lot more flexibility than dw's layout view, and code view is just an expensive syntax highlighter. Better off using notepad++, gives you the low footprint of notepad, but the syntax highlighting of dw (and for most other programming languages too) and running a webserver on localhost in the background.
