Damn, I totally just renewed my sub on WoW....got back on with my human mage, and now am having a killer time to even get into any guilds that are only even still doing Naxx....and any good guilds are doing Ulduar. Damn breaks.....
Downed Yogg on 10, pushing for him this week on 25, He still hasnt been touched on my server on 25man. We're currently the closest getting to general last week. So, we'll see.
So... Ulduar's easy then? =| My guild was never very good and they're what...10/14 on normal and...4/14 on hard. On a side note ; selling of my account fell through so I'm holding on to it. Was going to consider coming back later in Summer (Once exams are over + I've got ------ all to do in Uni) but I hate the idea of being so far behind..
If your guild is that far behind they are having issues. The first bosses are like patchwerk. The fucking trash is harder than they are. Ulduar 10 is easy mode, we have pugs already getting to Yoggy.
We cleared up to and including freya tonight, 1 shot everything, no wipes and got a few of the no death things, we're at like 9 shards for the mace as well. Loving this content, cant wait to start banging out hardmodes.
Well yeah. Is Ulduar really worth coming back to the game for? There's other MMORPG's coming out that I may as well swap too, that one you were going on about.
So um, I've had to stop raiding due to my internet company having issues with supporting WoW. Checked around and bunch of others with the same provider having latency/DC'ing issues during peak times. /sigh, end of my era in WoW. Unless TPG decide to get off their ass and fix this ---- ><
You may as well come back to stay geared, it *is* more difficult than the previous content by quite a large margin, especially the hard modes. Keep in mind there is 1 more major content patch before 3.3 which is when Icecrown is being released, so there will be an alternative bracket of raiding before Icecrown that may be worth while. It could be any number of things, however. We have Grim Batol with Death Wing, or further exploring the Gundrak temple considering its one of the largest buildings in Northrend, or there could be a Nerubian raid.
Its gonna be the coliseum thing with the AT Id imagine as Chilton from blizz said "The Argent Tournament will be expanded in Patch 3.2 and will be the biggest feature of the patch"...I dont see a random center of dailies being the largest feature of 3.2...Im guessing its gonna be some type of raid. Grim Batol would of been my guess, with Yogg dead, the chances at a nerubian are very slim. A troll raid is a decent idea but I dont see too much of the high end lore tying into Gun Drak, it seems like its all been covered pretty well. Uldum(sp?) is a no-go we've had our fair share of titans and ---- with HoS/HoL/Ulduar. There have already been maps/layouts of smaller instances in icecrown, which the comments a few days/weeks ago about new 5man content, seems like itll be based up to and leading to Icecrown come 3.3, hopefully some kind of attunement to get into icecrown for the 3.3 raid.
THey said the coliseum is going to be a primary focus, but I have no clue how they are going to make that into a raid instance in 3.2. *WE* are building it. It wasn't there and inhabited by a big bad guy or anything. The thing with Grim Batol is that it is believed that Death Wing (being the guardian of earth or w/e, and thus being in close proximity to Yoggy when he went mad) is that Death Wing may very well *not* be crazy anymore. The nerubians had little / nothing to do with Yoggy, they were friends of the lich king, not through persuasion. A troll instance has been released in both games so far and being that Gundrak is a *massive* building, as well as the fact we didn't see most of the gods of Gundrak, I could very easily see it being turned into a major raid fighting the troll gods. Attunements won't come back. Blizzard saw this as a way the game restricted specific audiences from being involved in content.
