That is the dumbest post I have ever read. It's human nature to be jealous or envious of someone or something that you can not acquire. No matter how little you feel the jealousy it's still there.
It's also human nature to have weaknesses, to be curious, etc. That still doesn't mean that we should hate just for the ------ of it. Ask that dude who said he hates Hip-Hop why he hates it. I'm pretty sure he won't have a valid reason.
Other than stolen beats and no musical talent I can't think of many reasons either. Also Inb4oldpicisold Oldpicisrelevant
Not all beats are sampled. And more than half of sampled beats are more like a collage. They bring new life to old songs. And what do you mean by no musical talent? Actually, sampled beats are less current than before. But we shouldn't look at the state of a music genre by judging what's on TV and on the radio. Because everybody knows that all we see on TV and hear on the radio is garbage. Regardless of the music genre.
I hate that Australian internet speeds are a ------ing joke. also agree with nFx. Fat / Obnoxious / Stuck up girls...especially of the Black variety since they're expecially loud about it. They also think they're top ----, why I don't know.
Do they play any sort of instrument? Do they actually have a good singing voice? 99% do not come anywhere close to having any musical talent.
Groups like The Roots actually do play their own instruments. Their sounds is a blend of Jazz and Hip-Hop. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPepJ43SqJY But in my opinion, a MPC, a turntable and a synthesizer should also be considered as instruments. Beatboxing could also be considered as being an instrument. And for the singing voice, well... Rapping is not singing. Hip-Hop puts more emphasis on the rhythm than on the melody. Word... Most mainstream Hip-Hop sounds too manufactured now.
