Honestly, the movie was just awful. Everything was bad, the storyline doesn't even relate anything to DBZ. Horrible, wasn't expecting much of it anyway.
Storyline sucked and was a bit too short and fast paced for DragonBall Purposes Goku, Grandpa, Master Roshi, Yamcha, Piccolo no one used any beams or any ---- throughout the movie except for the one last Kamehameha and what seemed like a regular ki attack from Piccolo as no Special Beam Cannon was shown... All actors were good but nothing throughout the entire movie actually interested me except the scenes with Chichi in it since she was basically what kept me there for the ending...though it was poor as well. Piccolo should've killed Goku or atleast used his Special Beam Cannon against him. Killing Roshi was just awefull. So yeah..
Yes. They never did explain how a kid Goku could be married to a who knows how old Chichi. I'd like to see how that works out. Too bad Bardok was killed off. I haven't read a single good review about this movie. I'm thinking it's a renter. That way, as a group, you can mock the stupidity of it. Although it might be bad enough that you can get away with that in the theatre.

I finally bothered watching the movie. It was ----. I pretty much lost faith in the whole movie near the start where they're talking about Piccolo for the first time, and I swear to god, they called Piccolo a Saiyan. Ontop of that, ------er wasn't even green. If you watched the series at all then went on and enjoyed this movie, please slap yourself. Zainu pretty much nailed it all. The Kamehameha wasnt even a beam really. also agree with Neuron, a new series would have been 10x better. Maybe we shoulda let Marvel and Paramount Pictures do this, atleast they can pull of a decent comic/cartoon --> Movie.
Dude I would of watched it if it was CG... Anyway I watched it (didn't pay for it...) and the movie was just trash. Yun Fat Chow was not bad; however, everyone else were terrible. They should of atleast kept it faithful to the original story lines... Btw Wolverine Origins sucks also... Oh damn your right... what happen to the kamehameha... dude that killed the whole movie... Also I would love to see a redone version of DBZ... I'm not talking about remastered or anything like that... redrawn and with better action scene... Seriously the anime is not that good also. Plus I heard the movie cost 50 million which I think is sad... Not only that they are making a squeal and actually the guys want to make something like 6 movies...
Aw man When i first say it was getting made i was excited. I thought to myself "its gonna be crap story etc but awesome effects" but... other people have been telling me otherwise... I still havnt seen it and after reading and hearing more and more from people about how bad it is i dont think i will And because lots of people would want a Dragonball live action movie, im sure that they have made a fair bit of money from it so... more to come ...
