I know you take the lasso tool around your render and right click the feather then cntrl shift and something else, Ive tried it before but it doesn't work. I have CS4 and am on a macintosh. It just deletes the whole render when I click delete. Please help!

No, I'm talking about when you can fade the edges of the render. I could do it on my pc but now I can't. Sorry if I'm being confusing.

Yeah, before hitting 'del' hit select inverse, this means it selects everything around the render, but not the render itself, then feathers the outside of the render.

lasso the render. feather into it as much as you want. hit shift-command-i (to select inverse). hit delete.

You wanna know what I just did? I just deleted like 30 posts that had nothing to do with the topic!
    Why?
    Because I care.
