I have an image hosting website.. (im not making this topic to advertise so I wont name the url) I have it simple no ads upload, I have I think a cool design, and I want to make it used by graphics designers.. Thats what my website is about, my target is graphis designers. Now, as graphics designers... what would you like an image hosting to have? An album? your own page? have your own gallery? have your images uploaded indexed by google with your name on it? what do you guys want? Thanks guys I appreciate it
I think what most of us want is enough space to upload. not limitations to 1 Mb or something. Own pages and all are nice but the main thing for me would be the uploading space
As simple as possible tbh. You use an image uploading site to upload your picture, not to read through one million of features you will never use.
just an uploading feature with the possiblity to make an account to look up images that you previously uploaded.
Account feature is ok, but not necessary. Like said, the major thing is definetely the upload limit, if you make it higher then the likes of Imageshack then you're on a good start.
Ok thanks for the tips guys I have checked and I have no image limit I think.... So pretty much all you want generally is for it to be simple and accept higher upload limit? Ok cool... thanks again
No such thing as no limit when it comes to webspace. Contact your webhost and ask for your limit if you cannot find it out yourself.
I think he means the imae upload limit, meaning how much big can the picture be like 2mb, 3mb, etc... otherwise I have 400gb web space.
if you want to get really technical make it a designer specific file hosting site. allow them to upload .psd's or .ai's.
hmm... thanks for the idea I might consider doing that I think I will make a new design and put 2 tabs, 1 tab is for imagehosting, and the 2nd tab is for file hosting for .psd, and .ai file types, might add more file types. But.... one question... does rapidshare and all the other file hosting companies do they allow you to upload .psd file types? Since there will be no point in doing that if they allow...
