The page doesn't load. At all. I even tried http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ It was down. If there's maintenance at night, probably mainly me that's affected, I'm Australian so... Time differences probably makes it perfectly the wrong time Thanks.
Most servers go down for maintenance around 12am Pacific. I get hit by that by dA and tons of other sites all the time, since I always stay on late at night. GR goes down during the ideal periods for server maintenance, hence my assumption that it's simply routine and nothing to worry about. Generally, I get no response from the server, so Firefox times out the load and gives up. It can take anywhere from a few minutes to half an hour to go back up.
Haha, you definitely aren't alone. I'm Aussie too and I get it all the time. It just comes up with the url and a blank page. Epic fail...takes like OVER 9000! refreshes just to work. EDIT: It did it after I posted this.
