The effects are good, good coloring, nice flow, uhh, no lighting as far as i can see, nice compo.
Pretty good. B+.

I also want to remove the wireframe but it's 2-3 apply images from there to here
I'm desperately in need of tips for text.

Well, I usually use Vrinda, on about 12, then mix it up with some different colors and sizes.

 

I mean, more like, good placement tips, colours that go well with it.
Added a text change.

Placement is simple, go with the flow w/o attracting attention away from the focal, coloring, well, either white or black with one of the main colors in your sig.
