If you feel that this is true then Scott Moschella has hacked together GimpShop which turns GIMP's user interface into something more akin to Photoshop for OSX. However, if you're not running that operating system, fret not, because there is a version for Linux too."
it uses the same interface so if u know photoshop but like linux, linux dosnt have photoshop so some guy hacked gimp to have the same interface so it will look the same as photoshop
Those Linux guys can hack anything. I heard of some of them turniing furbys into a linux cluster. Only they could pull something like that off.
I tried the Gimp and I said it wasn't even worth the dl. I went out and bought PS. I love PS but it's not worth the $300.

gimp sucks changing it to look like photoshop won't make a difference. photoshop will always own gimp.
