Like every good TV show the tv stations running them usually kill them after the first 1-2 seasons.. By killing I mean they take a great show (take House or Lost for example) and turn it into crap. After the first couple of seasons they usually fire the previous writers and hire no-talent dolts for 1/4 the price. They might keep the head writer, but the bulk of them are severed..

Now, saying that, I would pick either Scrubs or Simpsons as my fav. Both are long-winded TV shows that have survived the test of time and have halfway decent shows after 5+ seasons.

Outta those listed I voted for South Park...however, my actual favorite tv shows are Heroes and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
oh and btw, Futurama > Simpsons

I’d have to go with Lost, definitely. I’d have to say it’s the best show on Television right now, as The Wire ended last year.

That doesn’t apply to Lost though. They’ve kept the best writers or gotten better writers, like, Damon Lindelof, Carlton Cuse, Edward Kitsis, Brian K. Vaughan, and Elizabeth Sarnoff. Besides, Lost is only going on for as long as it has to, as it was originally planned to last six seasons.

But then again, I might be a bit biased here.

I'm a petrol-head, so my favorite out of that lot is Top Gear. After that it's House, and I also really enjoy 30 Rock and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

I love Family Guy, and Scrubs.

House isnt bad either. I watch that when nothing else on T.V. keeps me interested.
