So after i made my latest pikachu tag, I noticed my photoshop began lagging, when I increase the brush size and move the mouse around, there is serious lag , as if it were skipping "frames".
Its quite bothersome, so I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same problem, or if anyone has a solution? xD

    close background processes (ctrl-alt-del)

if you have other ---- running it could be straining your system a bit, photoshop takes a lot of memory to lift 'er legs

Thats the thing though, i'm running the same things I ALWAYS run when i use photoshop... and thats not even much... I got...4gbs of RAM and a duo core processor, but like i said, It used to run fine.... I though it was because i only had 2gb left of HDD space, So i freed up some space, (6gb left now, It has run fine on 5gb left before), but it's still the same... It's only the Brush too, nothing else...
Though sometimes it takes a bit to open a PSD file.

Download CCleaner and run that. It should hopefully clear up a ton of hard drive space by deleting all the useless temp and cache files you'll have lying around, should speed up boot times as it'll clear dead registry entries, and should hopefully speed things up a bit.

^ Just tried that... It freed up 800 mbs (yay!)
But Photoshop still has the same problem..... O_O Thanks for helping though guys, I really appreciate it :D

edit: Fixed it... somehow it was my Skin/Theme that was causing the problem...
switching back to Windows Aero fixed it >_>

    wtf? XD

Are you talking about the hardness of the brush? Set that to 0
