Never used pen before, or tried vectoring.
    C&C please. :3

Just wondering, how can I use burn and dodge, but keep it vectorized?
I assume you can't do it?

Nice! Taste the rainbow... :) Without the burn/dodge looks great. Yeah, burning/dodging isn't scalable. If you're looking for a way to add shading and keeping it a vector, you can do like they do in anime scans. You can use shape layers for the shading as well as your base colors.

If you're using Illustrator, then you'll be able to get the same effect (in fact, much better effect) with the gradient mesh tool.
