Pretty good for your first DP, making the water look real would have been great, but I'm sure you'll pick that up as you go

Take a soft round brush and turn the water white to a bit darker blue / teal / light blue sort of colour and try to make waves to give the water a bit more feel.

Do the same to the rocks and it will look better.

Nevertheless, it is pretty cool for a first DP ;)

Yeah MerDeNoms I think I'll have to work up to the water a bit ^_^;; I originally went to do it and was like....eh... *changes blending mode*

Thanks for the tips Zainu I will try some of that :)

EDIT: Painted a Pikachu and worked him in for the SOTW :) Also made the water darker~

    C&c?

The sig version looks very smooth and clean, work your name in there now! When you enter it you should mention that it's a DP as well, sure to help persuade voters...

Oh, and as far as digital painting goes I don't know the first thing about it, so I can't really give you much in terms of advice ;]

A proper elegant signature in the bottom right would look much better, tbh.

I love this man, especially the water, the white outer border gives it the propr waterfall mist effect, and aslo if you was looking at real water fall from where the sig is actually situated, you wouldnt clearly see the water anyway so it has a nice realism affect to it ( pikachu excluded :P )

That's incredibly well done! I just love how that water came out... And thumbs up for using Pikachu, he's my favorite Pokemon (especially in Super Smash Brothers). Awesome work.

On the signature or do you mean cursive on the larger piece?
