I've been making siggies for only less than 2 weeks but im open for critics so i can learn better ^_^ here they are. i arrange them 1st means the 1st i made and so on. Oh and the borders i made are black so you cant see them here D: Rate them thanks ^-^ im open for criticism.
these really are right on the threshold of being really good except for a few small things, the text in all of them can be done much better, putting "sig by kev" in the corner is soo blah , you should take some time to consider font choice and how that font fits into your sig (what works for one may not for another) as wel,l blending the renders a little more wont make it look like the renders just pasted on top of the sig but rather in the sig(the second on especially) as well in the last one with cloud, the lightsource in the render is inconsistent with the lightsource in the sig, fixing that will really help tie it all togethether , With the exception of the "sig by kev" part the Vincent sig is by far my favorite , great color choice and great composition , they are coming along very nicely keep it up
Same i rly think the vincent sig is my masterpiece i have to dl fonts later so i can choose and experiment but if i remove the sig: by kev dont you think others myt copy them D: or should i just put a alias in the sig ? like the on on ur sig xD oh and if you have any font suggestion pls tell me coz its rly hard to choose T_T.
well if you're worried about ripping then just make your name a part of the sig rather than just a label on top of it, try and include it in the sig in a creative way that goes with the sig as far as choosing the right font, what you should think about is how it fits into the "mood" or "message" of the sig, eg. in a halo sig with masterchief firing his gun you wouldnt use comic sans because thats like a little kid font ( i saw a smudge sig in this forum that was of bruce lee or some one similar and it used the halo font ...and it sucked) you gotta find the one that fits Some fonts that ive found alot of success with are Arial, Helvetica(coolvetica is actually a little bit cooler and its free), myriad , Univers ......alot of times people just thow this flashy looking font in their sig and think it works but it just makes their stuff look cheesy and takes away from the rest of the sig.....the reason i like these fonts (especially arial) is because they are so "basic" that with a little touching up you can make them work with almost anything , theres a text tutorial in the tut forum and the guy uses myriad on like all the sigs and they come out wonderfully one thing i dont think he touched on thats really important with text is heirarchy which basically is how your text is arranged and manipulated based on "importance" which is up to you to decide ..a basic example ___________________________________________________ Kinda important ___________________________________________________ when considering heirarchy you should take size, weight, font, and angle into consideration as to how you would distinguish different things i would also suggest going to 1001fonts, they have ALOT of free fonts that you can download that all have different themes
i made a new 1 and did what you told me i change my name to an alias i think ill be using november from now on since its kinda original and no one uses it please rate it thx oh and i did the lighting good this time xD and can you give me the link for the guide thanks. Okay i made another 1 now i use the font Birth of a hero and pls tell me how to put a line between Misa Campo and november thx this 1 without my name on it and diff font
