Decided to read the comments on the page. And yes, at the moment, you're not going to get a DD, not at the required level, however, keep on as you are and everyone's got a chance of getting one. It's not a bad attempt overall, the small left hand side planet has a glow on the shadow which is a little off-putting, and it's too obvious that you've used Apophysis. The bottom nebula bit (Below the big planet) sticks out too much, it's bright against an otherwise solid black section. Also got a glow all around your main planet which, contradicts your shadow placement a bit. Remove the fractaly stuff. Lighting's ok, probaly a bit harsh but nothing too major. Definetely a step in the right direction at least.
So many space pics atm.. How do you get the effects around the planet? C4D's? Fractals? Either way, looks good wd.
Broken: Yes I know I am far from the level of getting a DD. I am not anywhere near the skill level required to get one. But I figure I am young and have loads of time to improve, so who knows manbye one day. Also I know it obvious I used Apopysis. In no way shape or form did I try to hide it, I just like fractals and the effect you get from them. But recently I have been trying to move away from Apopysis and just stick to brushing. Also I will see what I can do about the lighting. Thanks for all of the help. ^_^ The art world needs more people like you who are will to give some c&c instead of just say they like the piece or something. Also it is an honor to get come c&c from such a succesful space artist. Thanks Vir4l: Those are fractals around the planet. You can make them very easily with Apopysis. Thanks mate!
