Spending money doesn't mean much of anything. *What* he is spending it on is much more important. Bush fucked up our economy by not circulating government money in the US he effectively deprived the US of valid resources, Obama is working to rectify the issue and produce a more stimulating economy. I do, however, think he is taking it the wrong way, he should be assisting small businesses to grow into larger businesses and not giving it to already dominant businesses (like AIG) who don't realistically need it.
obama wants working people to help non working people pay for things that non working people ------ed up in say a non working person buys a nice big tv with his credit card he cannot pay for this, so obama wants to make a forgiveness thing where they can keep the tv(or other thing they bought) working person with good credit is taxed obama believes in taking from the rich and giving to the poor LAZY people
There are plenty of individuals that are unemployed without a choice at the current time, last I checked it was slightly over 8%. The depression was 25%, but our unemployment rate is on the rise and its primarily due to people not spending money so companies aren't making money and if a company isn't making money they certainly can't keep employing people with said money, so they fire them. Obama is spending money to supplement company growth to 1) not fire people and 2) possibly hire more people to assure the american job market remains active. The law preventing companies from receiving government checks if they outsource has already been placed into effect. He is spending tax payer money, but he is spending it in a way to improve the US economy, it makes complete sense. If you want a government where independance is acceptable, and where you don't pay taxes to a government that then spreads the wealth amongst companies who then in turn promote the global economy you are in the wrong country, as either democrat or republican, because democracy isn't for you.
these people who buy these things do not have the money to pay for them i'm talking about ones who are already unemployed, and buy more ----, now working people have to pay for their ignorance? plus obama has lied about many things he said
Name a president who hasn't lied? He's doing more for the US overall in his first few months in office than Bush did in 2 terms. Also, plenty of people who *are* currently employed buy things they don't have the money for... it's called a credit card. The government is working to repay its debt and working to get the average unemployed individual back into work so the US economy doesn't drop into another depression, which was a fear for the US pretty much since Bushes second term.

Credit cards are one of the worst things you can have. Its fake money. It's like treating monopoly like it was real money. A vast *majority* of the people who use their credit cards end up not being able to pay off their credit, get taxed out the ass and are forced to file for things like bankruptcy. I don't know if you noticed, but Obama pushed a law forward where if an individual misses the minimum payment even *1* month, EVERY credit card a person owns is legally allowed to hike up their interest rates to their insanely high limits you agreed to when you signed up (most CC is 30%+). That is the thing, people with money can't comprehend what it would be like to be without money - much like you. It's also probably why you are so conservative. Banks loaning are their own personal issues, banks have every right to turn away loans. Banks have every ability to look at financial history before approving a loan, the reason most banks even consider loans is because it makes them money from the people who can pay them off. If the person has changed jobs often, has been behind on bills, etc. most banks won't qualify you for a loan. My mom, for instance, has literally *perfect* credit now, and she can barely get a $200,000 credit loan. Why? Because they take into consideration how much the household makes before allowing the loan. If my mom was alone she wouldn't have even gotten that loan, because the bank knew with her paycheck she couldn't afford a mortgage and the bills. The government gave the banks more choice in their loans, it simply opened the market for the amount of people able to apply and have a chance, the bank is the one with the end say in the matter. What Obama is doing is giving more choice to the people and the businesses of America, rather than restricting it. To take it in the opposite way, most people couldn't qualify for loans, couldn't apply for credit cards, banks wouldn't approve of much of anything, and in the end you would have the overall economy hurting rather than the Government budget. The reason the current method is good is because the government has projections over the last... oh... hundred of years or so of what the government needs and can make the appropriate budgeting and budget cuts to provide the money it will need to provide. They also generally *over* estimate it to account for accidents they didn't foresee. In this way they are always prepared for what happens, and make the appropriate cuts to account for this. Also, let the record show that none of this goes through without the system of checks and balances. It may be Obama's name on the law, but it went through quite a strenuous process to become an action rather than an idea. The government, despite popular belief, isn't stupid. Generally it tries to look at the whole aspect and see what little bits and pieces are attributing to its failure and its success and try to minimize said failures and boost its success rate, this is exactly what Obama is doing, for the good of the global and US economy rather than the good of the employed and rich peoples pockets.
