Actually, it's been my experience that while being Christian is more satisfying, it's a lot harder than not being Christian. Swimming upstream in a flood, so to say. So I wouldn't say it's me leaning on a crutch, since most crutches aren't made of lead, with additional twenty pound weights attached. But it sure is a shiny crutch. With some to-die-for padding for your armpit. Sounds like someone has either been absorbing what the media and schools teach, or had a horrible experience with Christians. Not surprising these days, with how many people claim to be Christian, and get drunk five minutes later. Or brag about being the father of twenty, with 21-23 on the way. I won't deny that the church has been filled with hypocrites, and I can actually understand the animosity it's shown nowadays. My only point is, he has no argument. He brought up my religion, when what I said had nothing to do with religion. I've been around long enough to know what to expect because of my religion, I just think it's pretty weak to bring it up, because you don't know how to argue with someone. Find something else to argue about with me. If there is an occasion where I say "you're going to hell! YOU NEED TO BE SAVED!" then sure, fire away about my religion, but when I say, "GR is declining because you're all jerks." Then, for crying out loud, say something about that.

I'm a christian... but I'm drifting away from it because I find it harder to believe in its basic principle (Jesus = savior) every day. And I'm pretty much ousted by a lot of the Christian community here for my "immorality" (we'll just say I've been around the block). I usually just... keep religion in my pants unless someone wants my honest opinion, but isn't just looking for an argument.
