They didn't state anything was wrong they just have failed to reply with a status, and a guild who is actively recruiting one class would reply quicker than that.

Most likely someone better than me applied.

They've got some pretty serious requirements for apps, but I guess they really do only take the best.

Dem, talk to me about DKs, finishing mine up as we speak (just hit 78) I plan to tank, Id rather not fight with other Unholy DKs over ebon plague or whatever, so, leave that out, talk to me, what spec should I go for deeps (2hd prefered, wont get gear to support DW) annnnnnd for tanking...Im currently deep frost for ------off instances and such, but come 80 what should I be looking into, glyph and rotation info would be awesome as well. Ive been readying EJ but it seems like 84723 people saying this is better than this, Id rather know from first hand account.

Deep frost and deep blood are both very viable for tanking.

Deep blood is better at the current time than deep frost for dps, but deep frost in 3.1 will likely change that (it's already evident that frost scales better with gear than blood).

23/48/0 is the top TPS spec for dk tanks, but one of the lowest in survivability, it is primarily used for highly geared tanks with trigger happy dps.

Come level 80 I would recommend this as your tank spec... 12/51/8. I used the similar spec of 13/51/7 when I started tanking, either of them is viable.
I choose to not use epidemic because realistically as a tank you are spreading diseases around so much with pestilence you don't often need it, and for single targets its much easier to work a single rotation rather than dual rotation (ie Blood Tap > Icy Touch > Pestilence > Deathchilled Howling Blast > Obliterate and you have absolute aggro on everything near you due to the auto crit HB.

For DPS, I personally love blood, and it is the best at entry level 80 gear levels, primarily a disease style blood spec like 51/13/7.
IT PS HS HS OB > OB HS HS HS HS is the basic rotation

Glyphs are pretty obvious for what you are doing.

Until you are at the hit cap (262 for melee, 289 for spells *with* virulence) for spells, you want dark command glyph (-8% chance to fail) because a missed taunt can mean a wipe. However, a good tank doesn't lose aggro enough to have to worry about his taunts =P. Frost strike glyph is nice for deep frost, DnD glyph is very nice for aoe generation, Obliterate Glyph is nice, IT and PS glyphs are also nice (probably PS over IT in raid settings to account for BoS in 3.0.8, in 3.1.0 IT glyph is win for the 10 extra RP because you get starved in 3.1). Basically buff what you use most and do some simply math after running some heroics as to which would benefit you more.

On a second note... I got my Favor of the Dragon Queen *finally*. I told everyone today I am taking the key as ML/Raid Lead and if they didn't like it they could leave. Still no Betrayer =(.

Only makes sense that the guy who got everyone together, assigned tanks and heals, stuck with the raid for 5 hours and got nothing else but a lousy side grade pair of gloves no one else wanted should get priority on the BiS necklace and ability to open EoE portals =P.

Everything else was fairly rolled for, except for my damn key. I also told everyone from the get go, the key is mine, if you have a problem you can leave, not like I forced them to stay.

I also made the rule that anyone who comes in on the last wing or on sapph / kt couldn't loot Sapph/KT items over people who were forced to slave through 5 hours. Just isn't fair for someone to swoop in and take the item out of someone elses hands.

    Those are good rules imo!

Pre BC and during BC we adopted the same philosophy for our PUGs and highly sought after items, of course. Can't let just anybody loot that Staff of the Shadow Flame or Memento of Tyrande ;)

We had the *worst* rogue I have *ever* encountered before today.

Oh. my. god. he was horrible.

By the time we got to Sapphiron he has *under* 1 million damage done *including* trash.

I was just like... god I am so happy I never gave you any loot.

Only reason we let him come in the first place is because he has a hunter that was full BiS and it was a combo package.

Even *that* is better than this group.

Think about it... 1 million damage, with every trash and every boss taken into consideration before Sapphiron/KT.

That is roughly 216,143,284 in *boss* health alone, not even remotely including trash.

He did *under* 1 million damage *total*, including trash.
