Well, I am getting a tattoo next month and I would like to know if you guys got any?(Pics if so) I guess any opinions on it are also welcome but only decent and people who explain what they really mean. Well, I'm getting a tattoo of a dragon from my chest goes over my shoulder/top right arm (it will not show if i'm using a tshirt or just a tee) to my back.. it will end up been half of my back and my the face on the chest. What does the tat mean to me? The people who I admire/mean the most to me. My grandfather and my little brother. In the chinnese horoscope (the animals one) they were both born on the dragon year. My little brother, he has down syndrome and goes through a lot everyday. Plus I like dragons and I've been wanting to have this tattoo since I was 15/16. Also, some of you may agree, a tattoo can mean anything you want it to mean, not what it says on the internet.
I was considering getting one for the longest time, and even worked out like hell to be able to show it off nicely. But I could never think of anything cool enough or anything worth getting. I never wanted to get one just to have one. Like you, I wanted a real reason. But, never got one. ://
It is what I want. I've been wanting a dragon tattoo since I was 15/16. I'm 18 and we'll really though about it and its gonna cost me about 500-600 bucks, that's why is next month lolz.
Lol the thing is I don't wanna go to a cheap place, especially since its a tattoo for life. I'm sure you agree you don't want a guy making a mistake on you for you to pay less. And also, its a big tattoo, thats why is pricey, and thanks
Think about it man, you're paying some guy to draw a detailed dragon on your chest. Tools aside, the level of precision needed...man I could only imagine. Also, I think tatoos are all about other people. Why else get them? I mean.. for instance he wants one in remembrance of his Grandpa/Brother. You never get one for yourself, it's not like you can see it all the time.
They're very pricey. That's actually a real cheap price for such a big piece. Something like that not only takes up an incredible about of time but would usually cost at least a grand. Anyways, I'm really suprised about that cause I'm actually meaning to get myself a dragon tattoo later as well, but it'll be one of my last pieces because of the price and time it's gonna take. I'm not going with a regular dragon though, I'm getting a coy dragon and it's gonna start somewhere around my lower thigh wrapping up my body to have the head rest over my left shoulder on my heart basically or a little above. Two other pieces I'm gonna get are gonna be two halve sleeves of an angel and a demon on my right and left shoulders respectively. I have another tattoo in mind but I don't know where I'm placing it yet. And then I still havent thought of what I should get for my first tattoo. I'm kind of conflicted between symbolism or just plain old text. But I'll figure it out soon. Like by May at most.
Yeah, its about 4-5 hours. Not counting the hours the dude will spend drawing it on paper then on myself.
Yea it's really insane and depending on the coloring the price could get even larger. I've always loved tattoos though.
I don't like colors tattoos. I prefer black and gray. Another detailed like I posted on the pics, its gonna be dark type.
I''m only 16 and i got my tatoos planned i want at least 2 On my left tricept in mayian writing i want it to say family and on my back or ribs i want my last name i can't wait.
I have a lot of ideas for original tattoos that I really want to get. Just some of them happen to extend to my hands and fingers. Not sure how that would work out in some corporate jobs.
