'goals and something to accomplish'.. Well it still are pixels, but I get your point. But I don't even understand the fun of sitting on Org bank all day and flaming people.. I want WoW Vanilla back, I still have a level 60 Rogue in the level 58 PvP set (Yes, the one that got replaced with the level 60 stuff) and darn, I'm proud of it.
I play enough for it to be considered a job, and at one point I was up for sponsorship which got crushed when I went back on probation and couldn't travel with the team, so when I say goals, its generally something that gets me paid in the long run. Right now I have had a *lot* of talks with EJs recruitment leader Praetorian and I am trying to kiss a lot of arse to get into EJ and under their sponsorship wing, so I have a lot of work to do in game.
Personal DPS is where we found the most hiccups in 10m when I was doing it, not myself, but many of the other melee were having issues keeping up their dps while focusing on all the other shit going on. It becomes easy and second nature to avoid fire walls, void zones and (with some people) lava strike. But being able to put up competitive DPS and ideally drop the first add before the second drop is what tends to get people. I still haven't found a guild, so I have been running Sarth 2D pugs on Mal'Ganis weekly (10 and 25 man). No drakes, but the same gear so w/e.
TBH I have more trouble with firewalls as a melee than I do void zones lol. I am too enthused by topping damage charts and wind up not moving quick enough lol
Pay attention. If you try to avoid all 3... most of the times you wont be doing your job. Its pointless to do it unless you want the achievement though, so a lot of guilds will bring in 25 people and wipe 15 of them and the other 10 will down the boss and the 15 dead will be guaranteed to get them. edit: on a side note, anyone *hate* how the frostwyrm is the deadly glad mount? Almost makes me feel like focusing on PvE was the wrong thing to do =(.
Its always fun when you get a void zone pop on melee...everyone shift right or left...and another pops and it continues for 3-4 zones...its like heigan on acid
I envy the new Frost Wyrm yeah, I hope they make a PvE version. And we just spent a whole moint exploiting, wiping for the 6 Min Maly Ach, we can get about 1;30 left for P3 but meh...
As a healer I just stood right on the edge of the little island, a void zone would spawn there about 1/20 times so I was usually ok. I would always eat them if I stood in the middle because with players, ads, spells and focusing on my raid bars I couldn't even see them. 6min Maly took some coordination I guess. If he goes up for a 2nd vortex, you're screwed
