Objection! feral druids and paladins have been known to out TPS / DPS DKs and Warriors in tanking =P

Okay, so feral druids are pretty average, just a few fights they excel on, but paladins certainly generate a hell of a lot more DPS / TPS.

    Indeed.

DKs push about 3.2k/7-9k well geared on most fights, warriors *can* push 3.3k/10k dps/tps (if they are like one of the best warriors in the world, like Mtlol of CUTIES and Xav of Premo), paladins have been known to push ~4.5-4.6k dps on most fights and nearly 10k *aoe* threat, druids tend to be right around where dks are, but less dps and similar threat.

    huh? =P

    DOWN WITH PALADINS!

I do enjoy how they are incorporating all the classes with multi specs into the raiding environment though, so the term 'bring the player, not the class' or 'bring the player, not the spec' can come to the table. There are still some obvious ones (aff for locks, arcane for mages, fury for wars), but they appear to be making changes to incorporate the other trees as being a level which can compare with the others. Now you see generally 1 retadin, 1 protadin, and then holy paladins. You see 1-2 fury wars, at least 1 prot war, but 0 arms. You see feral, moonkin and resto dr00ds. You see holy and shadow guaranteed for priests, some raids bring disc as well. Shamans can come as resto or enh, but ele is really lacking, etc. They are still continually trying to bring ele, disc, arms, demon, destro, fire, etc. to the table to be competitive so its more based on personal preference and playstyle over the spec.

The issue lately is with stuff like DW vs 2h is that DW just scales at an unnaturally higher level when it comes to white damage, which is the main thing with fury / arms warriors. The reason DW isn't running over 2h for DKs is because they have significantly nerfed DW and then required you to take points in DW just to remotely compare to the damage output of a well geared 2 hander, and they continually nerf it as new content comes along to further prevent it from out scaling 2h (which is fine by me, not bitching, i love 2h). Similar concepts occur with fury warriors, 2x 2h and massive amounts of white damage vs 1x 2h and still a lot of white damage contribution, but higher ability damage, its obvious that the white damage scaling one will scale better with upgrades in gear.

I think I may end up trying to start up my guild on a good server though... Illidan, Mal'Ganis, or Blackrock, I think...

Not one of the top realms.

Illidan, Mal'Ganis and Blackrock dominate their battlegroups (and they are respectively the top 3 battlegroups in the US) in PvP and are semi-horde dominant with quite a few solid guilds. Illidan has Team Ice and Blood Legion, Mal'Ganis is the #1 PvE realm and has Elitist Jerks, Aurora, and Juggernaut II. Blackrock has Death and Taxes. These are the top 100 world guilds on those servers.

As it is, I started a DK on Mal'Ganis (yes, a third one) and their AH is just ridiculous. They had ~12-15 Nobles decks for 9-12k gold, they had 5 or so Surge Needle Rings for ~5-10k, their gems are cheap as shit, their dragon's eyes for JCers are cheap as can be, overall they have an amazing AH (which happens when you get as many high end guilds on the same server). I think M'G may be my new home.

    Not sure, lemme check

    ...

    60-65g uncut, 75-100g cut.

They have the valor BoE wrists (like parapets and sentinel huntress) for ~1700, the DM:G are down to 9k gold today and SNR is 9.4...

edit: oo, they have naxx boe epics like iron spring and zeliek's gauntlets for under 1k gold... I think I am nearly entirely sold here.

All US players on GR should Xfer to the same realm (or roll a new toon), start a guild, progress etc.

I have a feeling we might have some leadership issues ;)

Oh, and Iron Spring's for under 1k? That's pretty crazy, you should buy all the SNRs on the AH and reset the economy !

No leadership issue, my way or the highway.

Same way every decent guild runs =P.

You don't **** with the senior members no matter how awesome you are or you get tossed.
