Took some shots of some places, so now i am sitting and photoshoping them all. So as i am working, i would like some feedback. This is not finished, still loads of detail to add but here it is:

there are too many bits that need an extra touch, then going to start adding detail. I got uni assignment so, i am just making early start. At the end, i should have few works and then submit whatever looks the best.

You over-edited and ruined what could have been a decent picture.

That's not very positive or encouraging feedback... valuable feedback includes the good and the bad, not saying what's wrong exactly, but how to make it better. You want to encourage them, not insult them. Not only that, you do need to consider the artist's intentions.

It has a nice surreal feel to it, but I think it needs more detail. Most of it is white and I can't really differentiate between what's what. Also, the corners don't look very attractive with the little vignette. You have all blue, and then the corners are gray, which is why they don't seem to fit in the image (also, consider having the vignette carry over to the bottom corners as well).

What are you going for with this? We can give you better advice if we have more of an idea of where you're going :). I see potential in this, but don't really know where you're going with it. Right now it makes me think it's some sort of snowy wonderland in a fantasy world.

well, here is some history to the Edinburgh. It never snows there enough to keep the snow for more then one day, or more then few hours. I am going for sort of ( ironic ?) picture, where edinburgh looks like winter wonder land. Like i said, its still working in progress and i just put 3h of work in it. ( p.s. jamesx, if you not got anything to say, don't troll my thread. your replay neither is helping or constructive so please, stay out ).

You asked 2 questions - I answered one of them. I don't seem to see how that is trolling.

    And... my point was proven.

Not trolling, just negative feedback. There's an art to critiquing.
