I really don't think so. Sex =/= love. At all.

I know what you are saying, but what I'm mean is that is that sex is not the most important thing in the relationship. But sex is part of a relationship.

I yearn for love and I am a man. Respect is trivial to me. Anyone can be respected and anyone can get respect. People gain respect for doing the most childish of things.
But to be loved, to be loved is something much different. There's a greater sense of happiness a greater sense of purpose and belonging.

But you failed to give us any insight on what you believe love is.

Also Dem did discuss that men can be more feminine than the average.

Meaning your opinion doesn't hold any water right now.

He is also 18, things change dramatically over the next few years when you actually start being invested in serious relationships.

Haha. You have no idea what I've been through in my life or anything about my relationships.
Your arrogance is ridiculous. I was recently in a very serious relationship for a year and eight months before she broke it off.

Think what you want of it, but you will never know the feelings she or I had for each other and still do.

    You sound exactly like him!

See how emotional you just got when I 'assumed' ?

You have no clue what I have been through, you also have no clue what its like to be older than you are.

Trust me, when I was 18 I had the same idea. Hell, I was nearly engaged at that age, I thought I had a handle on life, now that I am older? I just look back and laugh at how immature I was in my thought process. You could probably do the same, look at yourself when you were 14/16, think of all the immature things you did and how stupid you are and how a couple of years changed your mentality and sense of security and your maturity.

I also specified that there are exceptions to *every* rule, you may be one of those few men who enjoy the comfort of being in a relationship where you are cared for and treated like a baby in terms of what your significant other may do to help you, most men don't care to be under that kind of care. Most men don't want to be under the wing of someone who buries them in love, care, emotions, etc (to a certain extent).

I am arrogant because I am right. I study the human mind, I research human trends, I love knowing how people think, if you knew *anything* about me you would know that, especially because I state it all the time here on GR. If you want to talk about life experiences, write Oprah, because I don't give a shit, especially because I know the exact mentality you have and as you get older you will realize you are just as immature as I am stating you are in your assumptions.

"I'm an 18 year old and my mommy made me fold the laundry today, the world is so cruel, no one knows my pain" is basically all you are doing, and it's pathetic. If you want to talk about life experience, I was raped for 4 years of my life by my best friends older brother. I went through foster care. I grew up in abusive homes where I was beaten to the point of hospitalization with broken bones and permenant damage. My mom is a druggy and my dad abandonned her upon hearing she was pregnant after stabbing her in an attempt to kill me. I have been on my own since 16, fully supporting myself, placing a roof over my head, food on my table, and paying my bills, with a few minor exception. You want to talk about living on the street? Done that too. Suicide? I have criminal charges for attempted suicide that landed me in the hospital because I have attempted it and been rushed to emergency care so quickly after becoming incapacitated. You wanna talk about self inflicted injuries? I have scars on my body that I inflicted to myself to escape from emotional pain that would make you cringe. I have been in deep enough to experience love and respect relationships for periods longer than 2 years in both cases. Despite all of my downfalls in life, I have still become an individual with a college education, a successful job (where I am moving up very fast), and an overall pretty amazing life.

Don't tell me jack shit about your life experiences, because unless you are an aids stricken child who has been hospitalized and subject to chemo for 18 years, or you're some african kid who doesn't eat more than once a week (and even that once a week is the equivalent to a handful of beans, at most), you probably haven't experienced worse.
