Hey guys, are there any split screen OFFLINE multiplayer games for the PS3? I just need it for TWO people (have 2 controllers at home). Just want to pick up 1 or 2 shooters... but only good ones. I don't care if they are old or new games, but they need to be for the PS3. Is there any like James bond style games? Like you're in a house (or a building) and its just you 2 (the guy beside you and yourself) and its splitscreen offline. And you try to find each other to kill the other person?
Army of Two is pretty damn good with a friend. Pretty dull by yourself, but a me and a mate clocked the whole game in one night.
Call of Duty World at War is actually a good game, contrary to what a lot of COD4 fanboys say, and it has a decent co'op campaign. Also, once you beat the solo campaign you unlock Nazi Zombies, a 1-4 player minigame that involves holding off an abandoned building from waves of...Nazi zombies.

As far as my knowledge goes Snipe, they have yet to make a game that was as good as the James Bond PS2 Games -_-. Now that was an awesome 2 player if you ask me. I had fun kicking my brother's but and he had fun kicking mine We'd always end up with like 100 - 99 or something in the kills. Haha Apart from that if you're into wrestling get Smackdown vs Raw 2009!? Mostly because I'm a big fan of wrestling. One Screen and up to Six Players. Check out some of the Racing games? Grid, NFS, etc. Splitscreen 2 Player. I'll see what else I come up with since I barely play offline splitscreen.
Resistance is a fine shooter. I never playd Resistance 2 but I heard it's pretty good also. If you're up for some action gameplay I might recommend Dynasty Warriors 6 which is a pretty neat game yet it's a bit repetitive.I still really enjoy to play these games with my friends. Naruto Ultimate Ninja storm is also not all that bad. If you're having a strong opponent you'll have a lot of fun.
