Well I've been hard at work trying to get back into this whole sig thing, and well I have what I feel is one of my best yet. I'd love to hear some feedback on it. Since some of the best artist I admire are on this board, it'd mean a lot to hear some feedback. Thanks again gang!

Too much Topaz. And it needs more detail. I mean, you haven't added any of your own effects....

    Keep working on it.

For one, I only did a denoise from Topaz, no sharpen, and yes there's plenty of my own effects. Background smudging, lighting, after burning, coloring, and much more. What the heck more detail could I add? It's so detail filled it would be too much at this point.

Regardless of how you used Topaz, there's still too much of it.

I think what they are trying to say is that you could lower the settings on it is all ^_^;; (Be nicer guys)

I think its hard to comment on a sig like this, because it seems like the majority of it isn't CREATED by you :/ That's normally the case with signatures but there are normally more ways than just photo-editing to add your personal touch to it.

Regardless, in my opinion though, it makes a nice signature, and if it looks good then its good ;)

Well I think the tag looks nice and I don't even like topazed sigs =P

I don't know the extent of your work on the sig but what I do know is that the colors and effects are pretty decent. I would have to say that composition is the strongest component of it. Lettering looks nice too.

Just when using the topaz effect don't overdue it. ^^

    Keep up the good work.

You're right Daecu, the majority of it isn't created, oh look at sig artists, Daecu hit home for most of you. I guess I just try my hardest to find the prettiest signature I can make, and whether or not that's epic as the "---'s" I guess it remains to be seen. Guys, new or old, don't give up on your art, because some of these ------y kids decide they don't like your work, at the end of the day it's about how you feel about it. I guess I fall victim to the whole " Please compliment me so I can get approval" thing, but it really don't matter.

Daecu really nailed it home to me, at the end of the day, if you're not truly making every bit of your signature, it's not creation, it's manipulation, so just be happy with what you do, and the so-called experts can tell you what's wrong with it, buit what it comes down to is they just happen to rip off others work better than you do :)

(pssst, I just moved into the catagory of hater, so whatever you do, don't ever agree with me, or the kids will get angry!!))

Regardless of what was said above i really like it, very action packed i feel. im not sure what are your effects and what are stock effects, ive nevr seen the stock before so i dont know. Fantastic composition and great work on the text and great effects whether yours or stock but it does seema touch over topazed, i dont have it so i dont know how easy it is to use or anything but it just seems a bit too much especially on the high detail areas like the ship in the top right and on the large ship just to the bottom right

Fine this is the render, but it was cut by Lego of Planet Renders, and by no means do I claim it as mine, like most of our resources :) Also keep in mind I added too much topaz and I didn't do any effects.

Personally i really like it hun and i don't think theres too much topaz being used here.

It all depends on personal taste i suppose and how some people think you have done and the work you have put into it... just by looking at the stock i can see that you have done rather alot to it. Don't be put off by what others say, aslong as you like your own work then thats all that matters.. your not out to impress anyone, your here to show your artwork, whether it be to get comments, feedback or to just simply show it off...

    gj on it hun.

From my point of view, it looks like you blurred the stock in places, did a Topaz filter and added text. I know we aren't talking about art or creative rights or any of that political sh*t, but for such a big tag, there's very little that draws your eye. Text is about 5px too far to the left to be the focal, and the Topaz denoise has essentially removed any texture which is a necessary part of creating depth...
