I did serious PvP in TBC, I saw all the content in the end, but didn't care about being on the top. I had a gladiator character in all 4 seasons. Since WotLK came out I made up my mind to prove to myself I could do better than the top players of my class currently did and put forth my effort towards PvE. So far I hold the US record for highest recorded DW DPS DK in a raid setting, and I just set the highest recorded DW DPS done to an unbuffed test dummy without raid buffs. Some weird ass european dude pulled some 7,600 dps out of his arse with lucky procs and spam chaining of other class buffs and beat out my record. I was in DnT (left from there being too many DKs) and CUTIES ONLY (booted for running my mouth against senior members) and Nightmares Asylum (left for CUTIES), applying to Elitist Jerks, Exodus and Fusion at the moment, but not sure if the work schedule will allow raiding anymore though. Oh, and all 3 of those guilds have had US firsts, and a couple of world firsts (primarily DnT) in Vanilla and TBC.
lol, If I get bored enough I'll give it a burl. I'm at work though, however stalking randoms has always been a favourite pastime :s haha. I love BR too =P, however not being able to do Wintergrasp gets annoying sometimes. TDM can suck a dick also. edit: Why roll 2 DKs? I personally dislike the class =(
I played alongside the original Alliance side DnT on Shattered Hand before their transfer to Korgath in a guild called <Drama>. Let me know how those apps turn out - prestigious guilds! Are they actively recruiting DKs atm?
I love the class, and I rolled 2 because I can level one up and gear it up for less tiem / money than transferring them all over. Not to mention I min/max'd. One of them is Belf (the one you found), the other is an Orc for PvE DPS min/max.
Haha, yeah. I was kind of half joking because I misinterpreted your post about EJ. I thought you meant EJ is prestigious, rather than recruiting DKs ;p
EJ is EJ. Their name says it all. However they are sponsored and they do have one of the best theorycrafting forums in the world, and they attract a lot of the best players to their forum =P edit: They were better pre-bc imo. Also, @Dem. Hmm it's an orc eh? That might help a tiny bit haha..I couldn't find any other BE dks with decent gear on my trails.
They don't have *one* of the best, they have *the* best theory crafting boards in the world. At the time I was with CUTIES ONLY it was (in terms of US horde guilds)... 1 - Exodus 2 - Fusion 3 - Death and Taxes 4 - Elitist Jerks 5 - CUTIES ONLY So I went from... like... the #40 guild in the US (overall) to #12, to #23 and now hopefully back to the #14 or #17 guild in the US. I am truly half tempted to get an EU account just to be able to raid in the top 5 horde guilds in the world, but meh. I may end up just rolling a human dk and leveling them to 80 and power gear them up and hopefully get into vodka, deus vox or premonition.
