I like the idea man, haha. I think the effects could be a bit more defined though.. they all look blurry compared to the Ipod itself, Yet I believe the effects are in front / over the iPod, which means they should be sharp looking, like the ipod, not blurry.. I think haha.
yea, i did add a blur layer hoping to add a little more depth....i'll post the version without the blur later
Vector style work should NEVER be blurred, unless you are working with very intricate work, and are using blur with the utmost care. Also, wtf is with the size? is that the original wallpaper resolution, because 1024x640 pixels is lower than the resolution of pretty much any screen made in the last 10-15 years.
To be honest, depth in vector pieces isn't as important as in generic sigs, and the amount of depth you want to get is NOT achieve by blurring art that is typically defined by its crispness. Experiment with darker and lighter colors if you want to add depth.
the size: its like that b/c it was made for a wide screen monitor (1440x900) and photobucket scaled it down @everyone else: thanks for the feedback, i really appreciate it AND i have 2 more versions, both without blur and i took off the inner glow on the big pink flourish....tell me what you think:
