    Its a drug for pathetics.

I am a hardcore player playing in world class guilds and I am able to drop it for multiple months without any desire to play.

The only reason I came back this time is because the new class is the death knight and thats freaking hot (and I love playing it).

well i was on the best guild on my relm and more then likely the best priest on the relm.

I would play hardcore then get drained too but what i mean is you always come back.

and it's hard to break the habit of coming back, and yes it's pathetic to be addicted to a game thats why i don't play anymore.

Decided to try out the spec mentioned in the spreadsheet I'm using, overall it's a gain of roughly...19 DPS. Will have to re-spec regardless of the situation come 3.1 due to the haste changes in combat and the restriction on having a dual-weapon spec so I won't be re-speccing at the moment.

No, its not pathetic to be addicted to the game, plenty of people are addicted and make good money from it.

I said that only pathetic people can actually become so absorbed in the game they become addicted, theres a difference.

As I said, I have been in the #5, #3 and #2 US Horde guilds, 2/3 of those being top 10 in the world, I think that would classify as being 'hardcore'. I also held records on http://www.wowmeteronline.com/ for top DPS in the world for a few weeks on most of the bosses, showing that for dps I am one of the better DPS DKs in the world overall (but those are all skewed anyways, it doesn't take into consideration how long the battle lasted, which is a large factor in your personal dps due to burst potential). As I said though, both I and broken stopped for multiple months, and while I theorycrafted and kept up on all the new info coming out, I didn't have an active account and didn't log on, didn't even want to. Only reason I started playing again is because of WotLK and the ability to be a death knight... which renewed my faith in the game after the failure that was TBC.

I've never been in a top guild, wouldn't want to either. They seem to put too much pressure on you to raid at specific times, do specific things as and when and whatever, otherwise you get kicked. ------ putting a game before my life, wouldn't ever do it. Its a great game, but I dont like it that much. ;)

Game just bores me to death if I'm not raiding end-game content unfortunately. Either that or actually focusing on PVP, but until Dual-Spec comes out that's not really going to happen either.
Depends what you enjoy I guess.

I'm in the same boat, although last night I bought Orange Box on steam for TF2...jesus christ thats a fun game to kill time. Although, I need to pick up several more pieces of T7.5, and a couple other 25man stuff, I have Sinister Revenge in my bank, missed webbed death by 6 on a roll reset before last, so picking up a Webbed Death is at the top of my to-do list. I have my frosted android handguards as well, waiting on a t7.5 helm to drop so I don't lose my 4piece set bonus. So I still have some lose ends to tie up. We were going for our Realm Horde First Sarth+3D this week, but had another guild beat us out. So, pretty lame.

Any of you guys playing on the PTR? We've been watching the streams on mmo-champ and discussing stuff over vent. PTR seems too buggy for anyone to really accomplish anything though =\

I have been, not really 'playing' though.

Just sitting around in Acherus testing out death knights damage and such. I can't legitimately tank or raid competitively on the PTR with how it is for me.

    http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.x...amp;n=Carbotron

I can't wait untill 3.1 but then i can its hard to explain:
I want dual specs, class changes(im a priest duh)
End Game content is a joke really I'm in a guild with a bunch of idiots and we cleared everything, they need to make ulduar more difficult ( actual raid and actually getting in i.e attunement)

Attunements don't mean jack, they wouldn't restrict anyone because top guilds would just sell spots in raids for the attunement status.

The only attunements that could possibly work would be forcing achievements to be completed, which even then can be rushed with the exception of a few of them that are more luck based than skill based (immortal, undying are two great examples).

They *should* make mroe raids like Sunwell, raids taht don't get cleared in 72 hours. For the top guilds in the world M'uru took multiple full days worth of raiding time alone to down, and Kil'Jaeden was pretty close behind him. It wasn't until they nerfed the content that most guilds started to do M'uru and Kil'Jaeden. They already said they won't release content like this though in the future, so good luck with hard raid encounters. I think they are going for a more progression based raid setup. They said early in WotLK development they planned for Naxx / Maly / Sarth to be easy and each new raid released would get slightly more technical and advanced.

I am, however, very much so looking forward to the new legendary they appear to be implementing with Ulduar, makes me happy in pants.

Haha yea man the new legendary thing is cool isnt it a healing mace or something?
I liked attunement idea because it just seemed more logical then to just start a raid without like a key i guess.

My server sucks pretty bad wowlk wise for guilds it's almost to the point where me and my friends just wanna make a new guild for 10 mans and dick around lmao

    Aye, it's a healing mace.

I don't see anything wrong with how quick Naxx has been cleared, it's still an entry level raid so Blizzard want as many people to clear it as possible before Ulduar comes out (Which will be harder, and the vast majority of bosses will have a 'hard mode'). We're just working on Sarth + Drakes, and Undying/Immortal until Ulduar now ; though Undying really isn't -that- much of a challenge assuming you've got luck on your side. We put together our best 10-man group this week and had Undying on every boss except Gluth who decided to one-shot a healer.

Ouch at gluth oneshotting the healer. Yeah we were having a go at all the naxx10 achievements last week and got to last wing and thought may as well go for undying as well seeing as nobody had died beforehand, then Razuvious's MC bugged and killed people, gg for that.

Still working on sarth+drakes, cleared 10man +1d and 25man +2d. 10man +2d will be tomorrow or day after hopefully though, never really got around to doing it until now.
