I'm not quite sure what it is, but when I do a full render (shift-R) the image is distorted quite a bit from what it is when i render the view (ctrl-R)... any thoughts? Is this something that can be caused simple by having a large number of pieces?
Well, has the problem occured before? Or is this the first time? Also, check your render settings. It could be that somewhere, you put a wierd resolution etc etc. And, if you have a widescreen, it sometimes can screw up. I think it's happened before, not sure about this though.
I do have a wide screen monitor :/ I hope that's not it... More specifically what has happened is that I make a large complex c4d, with lots of duplication and manipulation, then render it, and the copies in the foreground render, and some in the background just disappear entirely. Aside from that, even when it is just one or so, I noticed with the cell c4d style that the angle of the boxes would be dilapidated in the render :/
Oh wait, did you put any displacers in the c4d? Because if you click a small duplicated part, it shows it without some distortions. Also, check that all your distortions you placed are visible. That sometimes screws it up.
I found out the issue, for whatever reason, it has set my piece up as an animation, and was rendering Frame 1, which wasn't the same as it looked like as I worked on it. Turns out that frame 90 of the animation (the final frame) was the correct one, and so I was able to go into the animation settings and set min and max both to frame 90, so that was the only possible thing they could render. This literally was the difference between this: http://fc49.deviantart.com/fs41/f/2009/053...d_by_daecu7.png and this (I changed the color... that's not related... and the black bg isn't either, just the shape of it xD) http://www.gamerenders.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=397930 /\ my latest, hope you guys like it
