I agree, if you're going to take 5 minutes to convey an emotion, at least make it a smile, and not a piece of artwork. Even tag art is highly regarded by me. Not some picture of the master chef guy in some awkward stance looking at a blue blob. If you want my artistic stance on it. It might be him looking into a mirror and is saddened by what he's become...If you want what I think you were doing? You were making a signature that conveyed a game you enjoy playing...Make it about the art, and most of you tag artists would love making this stuff a lot more. X'ed said to say to me, one time, and I've yet to forget "Art is your soul on paper (digital media in our case)
The game has changed, realism is the shiznit. I feel it makes a sig nicer and put more "emotions" into it, but that's just my worthless opinion. Sig still looks nice though.
