i think i might be on to something, when i opened a c4d (saved as a .png) in photoshop it wouldn't work (gave me the error message again). I then opened the same c4d in paint, saved it as a .jpeg and then opened the same c4d as a .jpeg in photoshop and it worked fine. is that the problem? that they are all saved as .png files instead of .jpeg? or should that not matter? i think some of the images lose their transparent backgrounds when saved as a .jpeg, not that it matters much. help plz
maybe you didn't check off the png file to be opened in Adobe, instead it can only be opened in a imageready.
