when i try to open a c4d or some pictures for that matter, idk if it is that format that they are saved as but i keep getting this annoying message: "Could not complete your request because the file-format module cannot parse the file."
does anyone know what this means? or how can i fix it? the files are saved as .png

    thanks

That usually happens when the image is damaged or missing a pixel, if this is true then Photoshop will not open the file.

You can try opening it in another image viewer and save it and then try opening it in Photoshop again.

Can you try and post the image here and see if anyone else can open it without problems?

is it an image or an actual C4D file?

    it's most likely a c4d file.

well its weird, images work 99% of the time. but i have a couple of downloaded c4d packs and they work at random. ( it normally only works for like the first 1 i open, then i just keep getting the message) :(

Did you try my suggestion above?

Also can you post the c4d here so other people could try it and see if they get the same error?
