I wasn't sure where to put this. To start off since i've come back to GR i've noticed one big thing. Dead crews. By dead i mean the crews around are not really doing much (no offense). By this i personally mean you get the resource packs..yes, you get once and a while a little battle. But personally im not seeing very much going on. Personally I'm interested in putting some input on this and want to hear what people think about it. I know im not that great a sig maker and that, I just recently came back to GR because of computer issues but i'd like to try to keep this site i've been spending a lot of time on to continue being a great site for everyone here. My ideas for crew activity is as followed. A Weekly Crew Fantasy League. By this I kinda almost mean a fantasy football league of sorts kinda like a weekly contest where all crew enter they have every members in there crew that is availably that week to make a sig (by sig i mean anything goes vert,lp w/e but nothing bigger than lp) (no premades) and the best 3 are posted in kinda a battle against all other crews and the winning crew of that week would be crew of the week. Now i know there are a few problems with this like CD being a mostly photo related crew and that some crews may have a little more skills then other but, 1. you can always improve your skill and 2. Im sure CD could pull off taking there pics and making them into LP's of some kind. If crew is busy that week can drop a week and not gain anything but i feel by this we could make stats for the crews and have like a superbowl of sigs in a sense. Now im writing this as its coming into my mind so there are some things that are gonna have to be figured out but i feel thats its really a pretty sweet way to keep the crews popular,active and giving the community almost something to cheer for. Fat 40 year old men cheering for Fresh to win the superbowl etc. you get the point. Oh and Please read the whole thing before asking a question i already answered.
Yeah, crews like AG have suffered from serious inactivity (which is why most of us members left/got kicked out and the crew restarted), BC is pretty much dead to the world, as well as other crews which I may have missed. People seem to be busier these days, what with school, work and college or even holidays. Give it till about mid-year for things to spice up again. At the moment, inside crew-wise, not only are there resource packs, but there are tagwalls, --------crew battles (league), SOTW entries from crews, collabs, all that kind of stuff going on. Its hard to know when you're not really in a crew anyway.
