Anyways, about your SIG there are a lot of things wrong such as lighting, border, text, etc. Don't just brush white and lower the opacity. If you're going to have a border at all, a 1-2px with random gradients from your sig is one of the lamer ways to do it. Same idea with your text. But for a newcomer this is pretty good. Instead of focusing on stuff you did bad, I would say your composition and the effects on the right side were neatly done. Good job. I think at a point you'll stop reading tutorials as how-to guides and start reading them to learn new techniques.
