all in all i'd say i like the second image better, even tough there are alot of things that it is missing which the first one has. in this picture i've marked all the things i like and dislike in green(like) and red(dislike).
by dislike i mean that only in comparison to the other picture,i'd say overall both tags are very well made.

1:very minor detail, but i think it looks better if u take this out of the picture as in the second one, since i personally believe it distracts from the "main parts" of the vector.

2: I like the way this blends the vector in very much. to me it feels as if something is missing at this position in the second picture.

3: Can't really tell why I like this, but this just looks better than the "empty" space in the second picture.

4: Also a minor detail, like the first thing I said.

5: Here it looks like you wanted to take it out of the picture, but left it in half the way. I personally dislike this kind of half-assed removals.Ignore this if u want since it's just my personal oppinion.

6: Seems to sharp, the second picture looks way better there.

7: This small green thing fills some empty space in a good way. thats always a good thing :)

    8: Once again,seems to sharp.

9: This "half-seethrough" part just messes me up, I really really hate it.anyway it's just a personal oppinion so feel free to ignore this if you want.

10: Here the generally sharper picture number one is a bit blurrier than the second picture. I like that because it feels abit smoother.

    11: Fills empty space,in a good way.

12: A bit blurry. I prefer to have sharpened fonts. Personal oppinion i guess so feel free to ignore.

13: Seems very empty, since the black tone doesnt change at all,I also dislike that part in the first picture, but it's a bit better there.

    14: A bit too bright.

    15: Seems too sharp.

    16: Too bright once again.

Hope this helps in any way and sorry for altering your pictures . Naturally i won't use this anywhere else but in this post.

Wow Btray, thanks for all that @_@ I'll definitely take another look here when I get back from class and probably change some things, I appreciate all the time you put into it :)

I wouldn't suggest doing it 100% of the time though, you'll drive yourself nuts ^_^ thanks again :)

I won't don't worry, it's just that i'm kinda sick atm so i've got alot of time at hands and i felt it somewhere deep inside myself that this work couldnt be criticized any shorter.
normally i might not have bothered posting because it'd have take me that long but anyway.

Thanks but please don't hijack my thread for flaming etc.

I'm kinda a moderator and such and don't tend to take a liking to those sorts of things. :)

Thanks for the comments though ^_^ Please keep them to c&c on my post though, not on btray's c&c.

I like the concept and the sig, but the bottom one is a bit oversharpened, and I dislike the blur you have on the purple squiggly on the first one. So if you like took the second signature's sharpen down a notch, it would be awesome  .

Besides what I said above: great depth; it progressively and noticeably gets closer from left to right. Good lighting; but I don't think that's your fault because you worked off a sweet render. I think that your custom shapes look a little out of place but you can fix that if you introduce some of the highlight and shadow colors into them. As for the second version, you don't need a c4d because you're mint without it and it takes away from the lighting that I like.

    mint is fresh
