Microsoft Office Word Help

I'm working on an english project, and I need to fit in some poems.

However, some are quite large, and take up two pages. I would like to know how I can get the poems to fit on the page.

Eg (something like this format):

.......|.......
.......|.......

.......|.......
.......|.......
.......|.......

(the lines are page dividers lol)

I think you can correct that on the printing settings.

 

I don't need to print it like that, I just need to have it laid out like that in the word document.

 

Doing it in photoshop and then paste picture on a word doc.?

That's what I was gonna reccomend too.
Go to Format --> Columns, and set it to 2. The page will now be divided into two columns! You can also set there to be dividers between the columns in that dialog too.
An extra hint: Insert --> Break --> Column Break allows you to stop a column anywhere
