So i have this new art class which is completely driving me nuts. For the first couple of assignments its been abstract things. I personally dont understand all of the abstract art and what not so I was hopping maybe someone who does can help me out. One of my assignments has to do with drawing the 4 seasons abstractly and the other one is with 1 inch lines to create an atmosphere. If any one has any ideas let me know plz
For the season I'd probably focus largely on use of colour. As for the one-inch lines, just use your penis as a ruler and slap it all over your page until you have an atmosphere. Okay, that was a bad insult, but I don't know what you mean by an "atmosphere" so I can't help you. Also, I don't get abstract stuff myself. Everyone knows Monet began the shift from realism just because he was nearsighted and painted what he saw (again, I'm talking about a subject I know very little about =P).
I've been doing a principles of design course. Interesting ----. Learnt about Balance / Lines and all sorts of fun ----. ZigZag lines make me angry. >=(
use a lot of color as he said and maybe add in some weather from each season like leaves,snow,rain,sun etc.
