Ok so I have a couple Cds (about 20 gbs) of Cds that I want to rip from the Ipod to put on a folder on my pc. I've used a program before but I can't remember the name.
    Any reccomendations? Greatly appreciated.

    thanks in advanced.

    Don't need to use a program: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1363

Just plug it in while in disk mode and you can access the files and transfer them over. They will have weird names, but the files themselves will have the appropriate info in them.

It would be easier to use a program to retain the original file names.

But regardless of the way you do it, if you like to organize your music you're going to have to do it manually.

Noo, there's a program, (thx dem btw)

I used to use it... It will rip the music from the ipod to a mp3 file in your designated folder.

Is it Sharepod that you're looking for? That's the most popular one I know of.

That's what I've used, and it works well... Very simple and has an interface similar to iTunes.
    You could try Poddox, also.
