Don't kill me if I am wrong, the other forum members will if I am =D I believe your problem is with your processor, at 2.5 it is not exactly high end anymore =D. Also another gig of ram sure would not hurt it, xp (86) will recognize like 3.4 gigs of ram or something like that.

Trying using older drivers maybe that would help. Another thing it could be is that some games will run better depending whether you are using an Ati or Nvidia card.

Heh found out why, the sticker in the middle of the fan came off and got sucked into the fan slowing it down. The temp on the GPU went up to 100C ...took it out and popped another fan in the case and now everythings running pretty cool. Now i'm looking into overclocking the CPU a bit just gotta make sure the temps stay fine T.T

the amount ANY 32bit OS will recognize is dependent upon the motherboard/bios of the system. I've got boards that will do 4GB, others that do 3.0GB and yet others that do 3.5GB

as for OCing, what motherboard do you have?

Wind that motherf*cker up, and watch her burn.

You're not gonna see a hell of a lot of a performance increase with an overclock, but you might as well squeeze what you can out of the system before your next CPU/MOBO/RAM upgrade.
