after you save the file, where do u preview the image?? wich program do u use?? because using save for web should show you if u use 2-up tab the end result of the image so it dosnt make any sence to me.
hmmm when i switched it to moniter RGB I showed me what the final one looked like. Now maybe i can edit from that to get it to look how i want it to. Example: The after saving it photo is how the before saving looks now. Since i can see how it looks maybe i can edit it accordingly so that the final outcome will be dark like i want it.
With those settings on: Before Saving it ( Still in Adobe ) After Adjusting the Levels of brightness and contrast I was able to adjust it and see what its gonna look like in the end. Hopefully i see it exactly how i see it.
But see, now you have the problem I warned you of: the before you showed is in a previous post is no longer what I'm seeing. I'm seeing that after version, which is the lighter one. If that fixed it though, then that means you need to recalibrate your monitor.
I think it's not exactly the same because he adjusted it, also the photoshop version(before further editing) was pretty bright this time so I think it fixed it. lmao...
I dont see how its not working, It looks on photoshop how it used to look before. When it was dark before i would save it and it would be lighter. Now after those settings I am seeing in photoshop what it would like it after i save it.
I'm still seeing v2 of his post on page 1, which is the lighter version. And proof colors should still be turned off. A proof is a print, and, from my understanding, proof colors allow you to preview how it might look on paper. If you have proof colors on, it will still save it as though they're turned off, which will cause a discrepancy in what you see in Photoshop, and what you save. It happened to me the other day while I was experimenting with something. http://photo.net/digital-darkroom-forum/00LBOo <-- about proof colors in Photoshop
