im a huge Underworld fan to start off with so, me love this film :lol: im deffo gonna have to see this one again tbh, gives you alot more backstory(yes its a prequel) as to what happened to start the war and what happened around it. There is alot of fight sequences through out the film and it does well to keep the war going between the Vampires and Lycans. Rhona Mitra looks great in her role as Sonja so you do forget about Kate Beckinsales character Selene, right? Viktor played by Bill Nighy and Lucian played by Michael Sheen were also brilliant as they really stole the whole film imo as really should have in this film, it also brings back a couple of other characters from the other 2 previous films as well as getting quite a few mentions for a couple too. If you havent seen the first 2 films before dont bother yet watch this one first :lol: looking to #4 [color=#000000;background:#000000]There was one part of the film where the lycans are charging towards helms deep.. i mean the coven(castle) which looked great.[/color]
I watched the first two and kinda liked the first one, really didn't like the second one. This one, I've heard not so good things about it (poor directing, bad CGI, etc.) so I really don't know if I want to see it. Not to mention Rhona Mitre's character looks as close to a clone of Selene as possible without actually being one. It's almost as if they couldn't get Kate Beckinsale to do this movie so they found somebody else who could give the character almost the same look and just changed the name.
I hate prequels but I would see this movie for the the other female character that seems to be a Selene clone. I loved the first two, especially the second but I would have liked to see the storyline continue from the second instead of going for a prequel.
You're a storyline person... and you liked part 2? Part 2 is as bad as matrix part 2 was. omg he finally mastered his power, lets go kick some random peoples asses for 2 hours and then sell it as a script. Part 1 had a plot, from what I have heard part 3 has, but I am too cheap to go to the movies again (it'd be the third time this week) and all the online releases are horribly out of sync, so itll have to wait.
xD well I fell in love with Selene so of course I liked seeing her kick some ass :wub: But yes I do agree with you on that point, 1 had a much better plot while 2 was kinda the thing to give the fans more eye candy.
i'm actually gonna watch it tonight just so i could say i watched it. plus i got nothing to do tonight lol.
I hate the movie theatres so much... in my small town (population ~80,000) the movie theatres are horrible. I only go to something if: a. my friends really want to see it b. my girlfriend wants to see it c. I'm somehow in the mood In this case, no one is looking forward to it that much (except one random, who's practically jizzing in his pants over it) and I can't be arsed. It just doesn't look to stimulating at this time right now.
I dont know if anyone of you know, but Rhona Mirta (Sonja) was the girl in Doomsday. I really wish Kate Beckinsale was still in the cast though, =(
The only good movie she's been in (IMO) is Shooter and she didn't even have a big part. I didn't like Doomsday or Number 23 and I dunno what else she's done but it can't have been anything major.
I feel discriminated agains won't be released here until mid april.... will have to wait for some good online release then...
the movie wasn't that good, i liked the first 2 but this one has too much action? lol i can't believe i said that. i give it like a 7/10 and i have it.
Can't say it wasn't a good movie. I thought it was alright, the storyline was pretty good.Although the ending could have been better.
