Looks pretty good to me, I bought that same power supply twice for two different computers i've built recently and it's great. The dvd drive I also got recently and I really don't have any complaints, is it the SATA one? Can't say much about the case, but i looked it up and it seems fine if that's what you like. I just got this case for my computer, it's the same price, little less flashy but built very well. The removable mobo tray is really helpful. Raptors are nice, that's a fast harddrive if you're willing to spend the money on it (it's worth it if it's in your budget) Overall looks good to me

Dont know why you're going with Vista when you know Windows 7 is coming out, I believe they are giving up on Vista totally once 7 comes out for official release. I'd go with XP till that day, plus you save yourself some money. But good luck with it either way. Everything else sounds good, Im looking into building another computer, and may use quite a few of these ideas, especially the case, awesome case!

I wouldnt get that Vigor heatsink its not worth itand its performance is pretty bad for $60. You would be better off with one of these Noctua NH-U12P, OCZ Vendetta 2, XIGMATEK HDT-S1283, Scythe Mugen, or a Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme. The XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 has the best price/performance ratio out today for only $37. I wouldnt get the Vista Ultimate its not worth the extra money IMO I would get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16832116488 and put the extra money toward this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819115041.

Thanks for the replys! That is a pretty good case SwAT, I might consider that. Also too abut vista, I have no idea why I picked that version of it lol, I'm just going to get the home version like Red Alert mentioned, I can always upgrade to windows 7 if I hear good things.. thanks for that good catch Red Alert about that Vista version, and I actually might just do what you suggested. Thanks everyone.

I have used Vista Business, Home premium and Ultimate they was no big difference between them and Windows 7 has gotten alot of good reviews . I liked it the little bit of time I used it.

I personally am sticking with Xp until windows 7 comes out, which wont be for atleast another year, there's nothing that vista has that I really desperately need. I do really like this case that I got and I would really recommenced it. It comes with 4 built in fans, usb ports in the front which are always useful and I have to have the windowed out side door. I do like lights in my cases too myself so i got myself a couple of these. (considering the case didn't come with any led lights built in) They're inexpensive and really add some nice light to show off your hardware. Just saying in case you liked the lighting features of the first case you picked out.
