Proxy/ Unblocker

Discussion in 'Gaming' started by Burning Phoenix, Jan 20, 2009.

  1. So my school has finally managed to find a reliable blocker that has blocked every single proxy that I have tried to access. This includes over 1,000 proxies I have found through the course of the school year. Is there any other option that I have to get past the blocks? It seems like I've tried everything, and not even the teachers have made it past.

they are probably not blocking https. HTTPS is quite hard to block, so while they may have all http proxys blocked, most also have an https address.

    for example

    http://www.ninjacloak.com is blocked

    https://www.ninjacloak.com is not blocked

Try adding an s after the http on a few proxy sites. That is the easiest solution.

If that does not work, you can try firefox, but it did not come from me if you get caught =D

    Hmm?
Yep, putting an s after http as one of our teachers put it, marks a site as somewhat safe so it can bypass the server. At our school http: (facebook).com does not work but https does. Good Luck and don't get caught. ^_^

  6. I don't have to worry about getting caught in a school of 3,000 kids in which more than half use proxies, as do the teachers. Thanks for the tips though, I'll check em out next time I get a chance.

LOL why do you guys always have to access stuff from your Schools, I've never seen any of the Schools here blocking anything though we use the Proxy Servers to access some blocked websites which are not in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of this Country, or are hateful against some religion. Well that's it, but yeah damn it's weird that the Schools attempt to prevent students from accesing websites on the Internet.

    But WE bypass them all!
