Hey guys, please help me :s I'm using this tutorial: http://eightmuppets.org/birdman/tutorials/spritetut.png at the step where i have to smudge i have the problem it doesnt work the little dots just move around a bit, if i smudge with the settings and the brush from the tut i have already sent a message to the owner of the tut .. but maybe u also know what to do i have made this to show what i got so far maybe it helps you http://img143.imageshack.us/my.php?image=situationwb2.jpg Mfg Dray
The tutorial is really poorly written, struggling to see what you can do to change it or where it's gone wrong. Advice? Find a better tutorial.
Actually this one is one of the most interestiong for me i dont find any other which give the same outcome
Yeah I think he skipped some steps. I tried it just how the tutorial says and your right, it doesn't work. Of course it looks like he is using cs3 and I'm using cs2 but I doubt that makes a difference in this tutorial.

Blur some dots, overall that's all it basically is, or just mess around with your own smudge settings.
1. Make a new layer before you smudge.. 2. With the smudge tool selected, check the box that says "alle ebenen aufnehmen" 3. Smudge away 4. ???? 5. PROFIT!
