So I'm thinking of buying a new Nikon Digital camera. I'm looking to lease it out, because I don't have the money to just pay for it in full question: Where's the best place to lease a camera?
You could try Ritz Camera, they may do it. If you are in college, you can check out the photography department (if the school is large enough). My campus doesn't have anything like that, but PSU's main campus does, because a guy at Ritz told me that they have lenses you can borrow. If you don't already own a Nikon DSLR (I am assuming that is what you are getting) you could get the D40, it is the cheapest one they have and so far I really like mine.
Look in the phone book for local camera stores. Give them a ring and ask what deals they have . I know that some stores in Portland allow you to actually finance a camera, which I'll probably end up doing in the future. I think Camera World is one of them, which would mean Ritz is one of them (Ritz bought them out). If you go in, they'll also let you play around with cameras to give you a feel for them, as well as give some good advice. If possible, go to a local business, not Ritz. If they allow you to finance cameras, then they deserve your money more than Ritz (no offense to them, but local camera stores are going out of business thanks to Amazon and need all the help they can get). I would also recommend going for a D80. The D40 is missing some key features that drive me nuts. I'm going to try and get the D700 if at all possible, so I'll almost definitely be financing that when I can get it... years from now. Unless someone wants to buy me the D3X
