yea kinda harsh but he has a point, best way to learn some hot technics is by going through alot of tutorials, after some time you'll go start combining technics, creating your own style etc ...

You are being too nice. That sig shows lack of effort, and I don't think it should be considered a "first" sig in photoshop, since I think he's just experimenting around with stuff. Also, it is best that you master the basics first before using C4Ds.

I don't agree with the "dont self teach"...

However you'll learn a lot looking at tutorials.

I think self-teaching is fine, but only after mastering the basics.

First tip, Never ever have any effects going over the render, that big line going down wall-e's face is quite distracting. For a first sig in photoshop its not too bad, you just need to learn some more ways to do effects, learn how to blend, and learn how to create depth. Like lots of people said above use the tutorial section here, its really really helpful. Keep it up and dont let people get you down if they say silly things like 'you suck go to the tutorial section' just learn at your own pace and if you like the final outcome then you were sucessful. Just try to broaden your style and get more acquainted with the techniques in photoshop.

It isn't bad for a first one. Follow some tutorials to get in touch with the basics.

For the halo sig, it lacks focal, and the effects in the background is too grainy. You can try blurring the background and sharpening the focal.
