My sister listens to Chiodos and Underoath, bands like that. FAKE METAL bands. To me, its people grinding the same chords over and over followed by a quick scale of 7 high notes for a fake solo-ish sound. I hate this movement in music more than I hated rap. The lyrics are pointless, and I can't stand the moronic fad with the "hardcore" bands promoting the brightly colored weird as ---- shirts and album covers. Example: Overall, no. The genre fails in every single way possible, from sound to image.
